A little about the journey so far
I am a 65 year old singer songwriter. I wanted to make music that looks at life with total honesty, the pain the humor, all of it. It’s not about chasing fame. It’s about showing people that the book isn’t closed yet. Fear of rejection or disappointment shouldn’t stop you from taking chances, whether that means falling in love again or finding your true voice for the first time in your life. It’s never too late to take chances. Taking Chances is what makes life worth living.

The first single Find Me, drops September 4, 2026, my 65th birthday! It is available on all major streaming platforms.
Find Me is not like the other songs on the album. The album features several different genres of music. I’m not sold on any one genre yet.
I wrote Find Me one morning when I was out on my little boat on the water surrounded by the mist and gray clouds of the Pacific Northwest. It was about the absolute quiet out there and being totally alone, in a sad way, but also in a good way. It is a soulful meditation on the moment you find yourself completely alone with yourself.

Gina Franchini is a 65 year old singer/songwriter who lives along the Salish Sea in Olympia, Washington. For 30 years she did not touch the guitar. After a lifetime of collecting stories, she is ready to face the truth and say what is on her mind.
Her sound is influenced by the Salty Sea and rooted in the traditions of Americana, Folk and mid-century country. She is influenced by iconic artists, like Linda Ronstadt, Gillian Welch, and Lucinda Williams, artists who specialize in crafting honest, stripped down music with a soulful authenticity.
